Best French I’ve had. Escargots are beautiful with a traditional shot in a shell when you’re done. Clams were so umami & went well with the sauce. Steak well done. Crème brûlée was exquisite! Peek vanilla beans visible, layer of hardened sugar was the perfect thickness. Service was very good from start to end, with good wine recommendation too.

What an absolute hidden gem! Between the food, ambiance, service and live music - you can't go wrong. The Steak Frites was definitely a highlight, as waa the escargot! Oh... And if you get the escargot, be prepared for a "Shelly" - a much more sanitary version of the shoey. Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to anyone looking for amazing fine dining in Adelaide!

Came for dinner Saturday it was our 3rd time visiting and it just gets better each time we go. We were lucky enough to get to try both of the entree specials and can I just say the special asparagus dish was next level an interesting dish you won’t find anywhere in the Adelaide fine dining scene. The live music and attentive service from Rowan made our anniversary so special with the fun little surprise of our candle in our dessert to celebrate La louisiane is definitely our go to for the moments in life that deserve celebration

We visited La Louisiane last Friday to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and supportive, making us feel very welcome. The live music added a wonderful atmosphere and made the evening even more enjoyable. The food was also excellent – beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Overall, it was a fantastic evening, and I would highly recommend La Louisiane to anyone looking for great food, warm hospitality, and a vibrant dining experience.

What a delightful evening! The escargot was amazing, and the surprise martini shot was such a treat! The baguette was a bit of a letdown, it could have been better/fresher. The special, Saddle of Lamb, looked pretty and had a nice flavour, though there's room for improvement, maybe less fatty? Up to the chefs! The staff were fantastic – so attentive and accommodating, we felt very welcome! We did have to book a week ahead to get the only 5pm seating, but it was definitely worth it. After dinner, they helped us get bar seats where we could enjoy more wine and the live music – the atmosphere was excellent! They've got great wine list with delicious wines from local and France. Overall, it was a lovely experience. Merci beaucoup

I’m usually not a fan of fancy restaurants because they often disappoint, but this place truly surprised me. The food was fantastic — the oysters were incredibly fresh (no fishy smell), and the beef tartare was excellent. The baguette was a bit tough, though the butter’s aroma made up for it. Our mains (steak frites) were spot on: perfectly cooked steak with fries that had the ideal crunch. Crème brûlée left us wanting more. What really stood out was the service — the best I’ve ever experienced. Our server was attentive, friendly, and even chatted with us at the end, which made everything feel genuine. The only downside was the live music being too loud on the speaker. We loved the vibe it added, but it made conversation and ordering difficult.
